Nicholas Cage has a super boy

Nic Cage and his barely legal wife just had a baby boy today.

They named the kid, Kal-el, which geeks everywhere have told me, is the birth name of Superman on the planet Krypton.

Imagine being five and trying to write your name at school: "K-a-l...no, it's a hyphen, not a dash." Why do stars have to give their kids unusual names? Only the famous can get away with it.

This is the second child and boy for Nic. He has a son who is 13 years old. Nic is 41 years old and his bride is only 21 years old. Do the math - his son is closer in age to his wife than he is! Lovely.

And what was she doing clobbering around in those high shoes when she was only four days away from giving birth?! Guess she really would look like his kid sans high heels.
