Disappointing Box Office

Guess the geeks didn't have enough money or time to spend away from their video games. Serenity was second at the box office with a disappointing take of only $10 million (barely making a dent in recouping its cost of $40 million not including marketing).

Flightplan continued its dominance with $15 million (good news for Buena Vista and Jodie Foster), Corpse Bride was #3 with $9.8 million, A History of Violence had a strong showing in 4th with $8.2 million (even more impressive given its limited release) and Into the Blue was a dismal 5th with only $7 million - guess Jessica Alba in a bikini is not enough of a draw when the plot and acting stink.

The 40-year Old Virgin has now surpassed the $100 million dollar mark in its 7th week of release and Wedding Crashers has now grossed over $206 million in three months.
