Madonna: TV is Trash But I Want My Own Show
In an article to appear in a British magazine, Madonna discusses her strict parenting skills and how she won't allow her children to watch TV because it's "trash" yet in the same article she expresses her interest in developing a TV show for young girls. What a hypocrite.
First she says, "TV is trash. I was raised without it, I didn't miss anything. TV is poison. No-one even talks about it around here. We don't have magazines or newspapers in the house either."
But then toward the end of the article she says, "My ultimate goal is to have a TV series, and each episode would be about girls finding themselves in challenging situations."
Madonna is a savvy business woman motivated by money. She must be drooling just thinking of the syndication potential of her show (think Seinfeld dollars - remember he pocketed $500 million for his tv show's syndication rights).
The full article can be read in November's issue of Harpers & Queen.
(Madonna looking oh-so-proper in the above photo. Remember when she wasn't?)

I found your blog surfing.
I don't watch TV either. I would develop a show if I could. It would involve a ballet dancer, who solves crimes.
Fun site. All the best.
Thanks! Good luck to you too!
